A bouncing baby boy is oh so sweet,
from the top of his head to his tiny feet.
A celebration will be such a treat,
in honor of little "Tank" who we can't wait to meet!

Words of Wisdom
The soon-to-be-parents would love some advice! Please post any words of wisdom, advice, favorites (parenting books, children's books, baby gear, anything at all) etc. They would love to hear from YOU!
Favorite parent book: Healthy Sleep Habits, Happy Child by Dr. Marc Weissbluth. My kiddos were sleeing through the night very early, which made for a more happy momma! (You can read my copy!)

The Snail and the Whale by Julie Donaldson; Brown Bear, Brown Bear What Do You See? by Eric Carle; We're Going on a Bear Hunt by Michael Rosen. We have more favorites but my point is.....have a lot of books to read to Tank and start day 1!
Baby gear item I could not live without: bouncy seat! It made my babies happy with the vibration, and I could take it with me anywhere---bathroom to take a shower, kitchen to cook, outside to do yard work, etc! I also used my monitor the same way if they were sleeping in their crib!
Words of Wisdom:
At first, sleep when Tank sleeps :) (even in the day!) (can you tell I needed my sleep?? haha)
Have a date night once a month! (Matt & I are not good at this but it is important to still have alone time with each other!)
And last but not least....don't forget, you can always come to me if you need anything!!! Love you Little Sis (& Brian too!)! I am looking forward to meeting my nephew very soon!

DeleteI have heard date nights are crucial and we hope to get in a pattern of this! I look forward to reading the Weissbluth book and hope to build up Tank's book collection as I know that is important and they lOve it!!

My main piece of advice is when it comes to your child is always trust your gut instinct! You know tank better than anyone else.And Its ok to say u need a break. Lastly u can call me anytime day or night!You are going to be amazing parents! Love u all!
